Danville offers a variety of extra-curricular clubs during the school day.
We do this in order to avoid transportation issues and avoid conflict with sports, jobs or other home commitments.

Club offerings have included:
- Chess Club
- Drama Club
- Knitting Club
- Book Club
- Lego Mindstorm Robotics

Other seasonal mini-courses currently offered during Club and Tutorial time include:
- The Presidential Election

Sports
Danville has a long and proud tradition of no-cut, successful sports teams.
During the Spring 2016 season, our Girl's Softball Team were the Division IV State Champions, and our Boy's Baseball Team were the Division IV State Championship Runners Up! In addition, our Co-Ed Club Lacrosse team had an undefeated season against other teams across all divisions. Our boys teams are the 2019 Division IV Basketball Champions and 2018 Division IV Baseball Champions.
We offer:
- Girl's and Boy's Soccer
- Girl's and Boy's Basketball
- Club Lacrosse
- Baseball, Softball
- Cross Country
Additionally, if we do not have a team here, such as football, the VPA allows a student to join the team at another school in the area.
Students can also play an individual sport (cross country, wrestling) independently with the option to train with another area school.
We currently have students playing ice hockey, track and cross country with other schools per these agreements.
Our Athletic Director is Randy Rathburn.
